During June 2006, legendary guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani returned to the UK with his blistering live show. He performed at seven venues across England , Scotland and Wales , including a performance at London 's Hammersmith Apollo. Tickets sold fast and the tour was a huge success.

Satch released his 10 th studio album ‘Super Colossal' on 24 th April to great acclaim, proving that he is still at the very top of his game. With over 7 million record sales, Joe Satriani has firmly established himself as one of the gods of the guitar pantheon. His rapid rise to stardom in the late 80's with classic albums including ‘Surfing With the Alien' and ‘Flying In A Blue Dream' are well chronicled – as is his enduring connection and friendship with Steve Vai. Recent albums have included Grammy-nominated ‘Engines of Creation' (2000); ‘Strange Beautiful Music' (2002) and ‘Is There Love In Space' (2004).
